I think the heat could say a lot about God's "character." It's the part that isn't comfortable, but makes him God. It is the fire.

We talk all the time about wanting to walk with God through meadows, chat with him, almost cuddle with him. It cheapens the lion of Judah whose mane burns with white hot fire.

I personally do not wish to see God's face. It would burn mine off.

I'll let him be him, without my wishes, hopes, or opinions.

Great post, bro. It makes me think of James 1:12--

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
